There is a rose garden in my mouth. I am both baffled and delighted at the same time. Baffled because one doesn’t usually drink roses. Delighted because I feel like I am sipping tea in a royal garden even though I’ve got sweatpants on. The smell is also quite amazing. Usually I throw away a tea bag once I am through with it but I still have this one sitting in front of me. The essence of the rose infused with the Ceylon is quite gorgeous.
As I have let it cool down over the past ten minutes I realize it is quite a bit better when it is warm. Still fine cold but my palette seems to prefer it warmer.
Preparation
This tea is like eating a delicious low calorie dessert and without the worry of gluten or dairy! I will say though that it is not as sweet as it sounds. I’m sure you could sweeten it more if desired but its plenty good as it is. There is an Amaretto honey in my kitchen I am tempted to try though…
Preparation
A perfect blend of lemon and sweetness. Great for when you are feeling a little under the weather. No matter how long you steep it it keeps the same flavor and as the water cools the it some how becomes smoother and sweeter.
Preparation
You have to be a fan of rum in order to enjoy this one because it has an intense rum flavor. It’s a rare tea that has the same dry and wet smell. It kinda reminds me of rum cake. I’m drinking it now at 9:13am and thinking this would be great as an evening drink watching a sunset.
Preparation
Also a longtime favorite of mine. It’s a tea that’s good at any time of the day. Hot or cold. Inside, outside, upside down. Though I don’t really think you should try to do the last one unless you’re in space… But anyway, this tea has an interesting fruity, dry smell and a lovely fruity taste. While I did say you could drink it hot and cold I prefer it cold.
Preparation
A perfectly smooth blend of the finest tasting (or as far as I can tell haha) green and black leaves mixed with the essence of Beragmot. It may not really be considered an Earl grey because it’s first ingredient is green tea but it is by far the best “earl grey” that I have tasted.
Preparation
Go look up Lapacho. I’ve never heard of a tea with this ingredient but it tastes pretty good and it’s good at soothing a sore throat. All of the flavors blend together very well but I think it is better with just a bit of honey.
Preparation
I am completely hooked on this tea, if you want to add green tea to your diet, this is a winner, it has no “fishy” taste like you usually get with green tea, the lime is wonderful. It is an acquired taste as is anything good for you, but I have been drinking this for years, and keep a huge supply on hand. It is great for weight-loss, and also helps calm you, while giving you just a small dose of caffeine to help you wake up gently. LOVE THIS!!!
I’m finally down to my last bag of this—it used to be a favourite, but my interest in it waned. The rum adds an interesting twist to the black tea (and it smells really good and a tiny bit boozy), but overall it’s a pretty bland tea. I barely get any vanilla from it, and the black tea is really generic. I probably won’t bother buying more.
One of my favorite oranges (just behind Tazo’s Wild Sweet), this one needs a long steeping time at a high heat. But it turns out perfect. It really is the scent and taste of oranges sticky and sweet on your fingers and in your mouth. Sometimes I find it just a touch too abrasive or sweet, but it’s really the perfect back up.
