Probably my favorite green oolong! when this is steeped correctly, (2 min off boil, 2 min steep W 3 grams of leaf, about a heaping half TBS) this produces a sweet, nutty vanillaish flavor. Good for about three steeping’s.

Looking back through the comments, I think that I might have logged this tea more than anyone else on Steepster. This tea has been good to me, serving as a go-to oolong for day-to-day, big pot-drinking. And here it is, at the end of its container. Second container, actually. Fare thee well, reliable tea.

200 °F / 93 °C

Sigh, when will the local cafe learn to stop using the same carafe for hot water as for coffee?

Tabby

I hate that so much!!

Once again, making this tea with shoddy, coffee-laced water from the local cafe. Sigh.

Brought some of this tea with me to a McCormick & Schmick restaurant. Their “hot” water was merely hot…and this tea took ages to steep in it. At least it was pure water, or this would have tasted terrible.

Found that the hot water from the local market is better than that water I got from the cafe last week. Will definitely be remembering this.

Another cup that would be better without the work.
