It’s nice, but it’s not Builder’s. It is a strong tea if I use two bags in one 8 oz cup and steep for at least 3-4 min, but it doesn’t have the same floral notes that Builder’s does. Still respectable. I’ll take it over Yorkshire, Typhoo, Barry’s, and even, dare I say, PG Tips.

This tea has ruined me for all others. It is a good, strong tea, one that I would consider giving up my beloved coffee for (considering that the majority of my blood stream consists of coffee, this is saying something). It stands up well to sweetener and milk, and it helps to brace one against the cold. This tea makes me understand why the Brits are tea mad. It’s really good stuff.

It smells lovely, but no matter how long I brew it, it just tastes like water. I might have been better off drinking plain water, because at least I wouldn’t have had the tannin staining.
