807 Tasting Notes

Raising my rating a bit because I made it stronger. The company suggested a teaspoon per 8 ounce but I kept finding it a bit weak. I guess I wanted to feel like I had been punched in the taste buds by a mango. I doubled the doze and got what I desired.
Also wanted to note – I also do not taste strawberries in this. I get the mango and slightly the orange, really no presence of pineapple but maybe some very subtle nuisances perhaps.

This is one of my favorite teas from The London Tea Room … bear in mind that the only loose leaf I have other than ONE is from The London Tea Room. Also the first place I have ever really tried loose leaf tea from. Regardless of all the teas I bought from them – this is one of my favorites. Tonight for the first time I have tired it with a little milk. I have had it straight, I have had it with honey, and with sugar in the raw. Tonight I added sugar in the raw and milk. VERY YUM! It seems fruity and a little smoky with the milk and of course creamy. Now I have not added milk to many teas, if any that I recall so maybe this is normal but it makes it very much like a dessert tea. Now I just want to brew a pot and have it without the milk and do a closer comparison!

I will change rating later if I discover I like it more. My hubby brewed my first and only try of this tea. I was not pleased with the quality but it may have been brewed incorrectly. Will try again and update.

This may be a fine tea but I am not fond of Lemongrass and this tea has a very strong lemongrass flavor to it. One of my least favorite teas thus far.

One of my favorites thus far. Perfect amount of mint and a perfect balance of berry. I love a good mint tea – this mint is not overpowering but present for sure. The berry comes through first then the mint follows perfectly on the aftertaste.

So who is this tea actually made by??? Curious.

No idea – I would have asked about this had I know then (when I was there) what I know now but I am here. LOL

Fair enough! It’s good though :D

I know that London Tea Room will say when a blend is their own on their menu but I have only noticed a few of their own blends. I will say pretty much everything I ever got from them has been great. If I didn’t like something it was not due to it being a bad tea but more just not my cup of tea like the grapefruit has lemongrass in it which I don’t care for.

Fusion Teas

We briefly carried it from a wholesale blender, that’s the reason other tea companies might carry it. The reason we discontinued it was because it was expensive and very heavy. So perception to the customer is they get a little for a lot. Great Blend though, especially for people that do not like tart flavors.

I can understand that for sure. I may not have bought it had we not had a chance to try it first. It is very good stuff though.

Lovely Coconut taste but wish it were a tad stronger tea. Still working with trying to get the perfect brew out of it. Have followed brewing instructions – next time will add more tea and see if I get more flavor.

Most of my reviews will be “snippits” of full reviews that can be found at http://sororiteasisters.com/

I usually try to post the exact date that the full reviews will post however sometimes post dates need changed so it may not always be correct. Generally the dates are correct however.

About Me:

Most of my reviews, although not all, will be quite favorable of the tea. This is not because all tea is excellent, but more so because I generally will not waste my time on an inferior tea. If I do not care for a tea I won’t continue to drink it let alone spend time reviewing it. If you see a review by me you basically know it is a quality tea. Granted it may not suit your specific taste buds, we all like different things, but as for a tea on the whole it is a good one, from a good company.

I am a spiritual advisor by profession.
I have two “young adult” children.
Four cats and three dogs.

Some of my hobbies include gardening, essential oil therapy, natural perfumery with essential oils, and cooking.

I look for complexity overall in any tea, dimensions to the flavors.

I believe tea should evoke a feeling, thought, emotion, or attitude.

I enjoy most all oolongs, blacks, whites, and greens.

I always love to try a good yellow tea.

I favor unadulterated teas but I do have my longings for a good flavored tea now and then so I don’t rule them out by any means!

I enjoy green rooibos don not like red rooibos.
