Just tried this iced, it’s even better than I expected it to be. I love the bold flavors in this so much. And it’s SO nice to enjoy chai without the jitteriness and crazy heartbeat I get from caffeinated teas. Would love for this to be a permanent.

I have to say, I get a LOT of REQUESTS for decaf teas. Then when I make them, they don’t sell very well. It’s pretty doubtful this will be a permanent blend. Sorry.
I had a feeling. I wonder why that is. I guess most people seem to need their caffeine. Well, you’ve made me VERY happy with this blend; I have an overactive heartbeat and I have to stray from caffeine as much as possible. That’s why I’m really thankful for your decaf, rooibos and honeybush. Do you ever take personal requests? I read somewhere that this is possible if a pound is ordered at a time.
Yes, I will blend a minimum batch for someone—basically a pound of tea plus extras—which are often measured by volume rather than weight (a pound of tea plus a scoop of x and 2 scoops of y, etc.). Typically the minimum blend comes to 16-24oz or so depending on what it is. The chai has a lot of ingredients in it, but I don’t think it would be more than 20oz. or so or about 10 pouches. Unfortunately, I would need to restock the base decaf tea, which I don’t keep in stock, so it might take a while. But yes, we can do it.
Gotcha. Well, that seems a bit of a hassle. I will buy some more and store them away. I just sent my friend some in Washington so he can get hooked.
