Not terribly impressed with this tea. Just brewed a single cup of it (one tea bag to a mug of hot water, sadly I don’t know the volume or temperature). After brewing it smelled really strongly of cloves, but sadly tasted really weak and watery. The addition of skim milk did nothing, and the 1/2 tsp of sugar started to help, but it was still pretty lackluster. Maybe a second teabag would’ve helped?

This is the second time I’ve made an attempt at this tea, and it didn’t do much for me the first time either. Can’t remember if it was too strong or if I had the same issue, and I don’t recall what I did. Won’t be buying this again after I’ve used up the remaining tea bags.

My journey into the world of tea has only just started.

I grew up on Twinnings Earl Grey and Tetley Orange Pekoe, but new friends and interests have led me into the world of herbal teas, tisanes, and my first loose-leaf.

My tea-goal right now is to find a way to make the perfect Sweet Thai iced tea in the comfort of my own home. We used to have a Thai placed that would make it to-go, but sadly they closed and then re-opened too far away to go just for a drink.

As for non-tea things, I make chainmaille jewellery and collect ball-jointed dolls (BJDs)
