46 Tasting Notes
Mmmm…a lovely smell and nice taste for people who aren’t too into green tea. But don’t oversteep it. 2-3 minutes is good. I don’t taste much of the cranberries, and the tea is yellow in colour so I think it’s more green and a bit of pomegranate that comes through. Although it’s not a holiday blend, it could be well enjoyed this time of year with the cranberry and pomegranate scent – when you’re not drinking it, you’ll open the package just to smell it.
Preparation
I’m disappointed…that they no longer sell this one!! I never thought I would like flower tasting tea but I do really enjoy this. I bought it because it was on sale but I guess they were clearing it out for good. Maybe there is a similar one somewhere? The aroma is rose and the taste is a good balance of white tea and flower taste. I steeped for 3 minutes but I think I may have over done it this time – I would try 2 minutes since it says “2-3 min”.
*indeed, 2 min steep made this much better.
Preparation
The lady at the store warned me to stay near a toilet when drinking this tea, but really there was no need. So I’m not sure if this is meant to be that kind of cleanse, or if it just doesn’t work that way. The main flavours that I taste are grassy and mint. I don’t mind the grassy taste but it may not be for everyone. So I like but I don’t love, and because it doesn’t really clean me out as the name implies, I moved my rating just below the smiley.
Preparation
Nice, light taste. I leave the tea bag in for 20 mins or so and still find the flavour light. I was hoping it would be more sweet and apple tasting but it’s more cinnamon tasting with just a slight hint of apple. But this is a good alternative to my stronger flavoured teas, so it’s been nice to have.
