I visited Tea Trekker last month. I brought my book written by the owner, “The Tea Enthusiast’s Handbook”, so I could make my selections. The initial welcome was lukewarm, however, as I started asking questions, she warmed up. I found Mary Lou to be very knowledgable! As someone who wants to explore Pu-erh, she was very helpful in making my choice, and I might add, she was correct! Prices aren’t to bad, and the choices are alittle limited, which ensures fresh tea.

All in all, it was a pleasurable experience. She even offered to sign my book, which I took her up on.

I have to admit that I’m TEAVANA junky! Yes, they are expensive, however, well worth it. I LOVE all the teas that I’ve tried, that have both been suggested and that I have chosen.

I find the staff very helpful, friendly, and not at all pushy. They suggest, and then let it alone. They will also tell you if a particular tea isn’t so great, then suggest a better one with similar flavor. I usually am there every 2 weeks or so, and they remember me. I find it to be a very relaxing and enjoyable time while I’m there! I will usually get a cup of a flavor that I want to try before I buy, again, a bit expensive, but usually worth it. I’m thinking I should get a part time job there since I’m there so often!

THANK YOU TEAVANA STAFF FOR MAKING SHOPPING SO ENJOYABLE!

Still fairly new to tea. I’m expermenting with a lot of different kinds. Apparently I tend to go for the flavored blacks. However, I am starting to try more of the plain teas. Still don’t have the terminology down, so you’ll have to excuse my elementry comments.
