I’m still really new to teas (well, tisanes technically) but this was the first chamomile I’ve actually liked…though I admittedly have only tried chamomile maybe a handful of times before.

First of all, this smells SO SO SO GOOD, especially while dry. I just wanna sniff it all the time! ALL THE TIME!

Though I don’t think it tastes quite as good as it smells, I do like the taste & the more often I have it, the more flavors I start to notice. Last night I finally could detect the apple-like flavor chamomile supposedly has…and somehow even a little cinnamony note (the lavender?) Sort of a light apple pie filling? It surprised me a bit, since I hadn’t noticed anything but “herbal tea type flavoring” the first few times. Maybe my “palette is developing”…I’m pretty sure that means I’m becoming a grand & elegant lady.

I have anxiety and adhd, this does seem to help me to relax before bed without completely knocking me out. I also tend to feel more rested the next morning, and have had a few more vivid dreams, so it possibly helps me get better sleep-I don’t know if it’s really an effect of the herbs or just the warm drink, but either way, I’m hoping a nightly cup of tea might become a cue telling my brain it’s time to wind down.

I also really like to mix about 1/2 tsp of this with 1/2 tsp of the Lavender Rose Tea from the same brand, and sometimes an extra pinch of lavender; steeped for about 5 minutes. It’s a soothing blend, and at that steeping time none of the flavors overwhelm each other or fall flat.
Oh, a dash of edible shimmer dust for beverages turns it into a lovely golden potion! :)
