This is the other green tea available at Aldi. I like it, and at $1.19 for a box of 20, that’s an achievement. Unlike the regular green tea, this one is a lot more sensitive to steep time. I would not recommend going past 1-2 minutes, the lemon peel tends to get a bit bitter beyond that point. High marks for value. If you’re looking for value, this is a good pick. I drink this at work daily.

I’m giving this tea full marks due to its value. It’s an Aldi tea, $1.19 for a box of 20. I’ve always been a loose tea fan, but I switched to bags for work, as it’s far more convenient. I tried several upscale bags, then picked up a pack of this stuff when I was at Aldi. It tastes just fine to me. I’ve tried other brands of bagged green tea, they all seem to taste the same. For $1.19, I’ll be drinking this for a while. It doesn’t seem to be vulnerable to overbrewing, either. It’s $1.19, if you’re curious, give it a shot.

Strong, distinct mandarin orange flavor. Not bad at all!

Vanilla! They weren’t shy with the vanilla in this one. Way too strong for me, it’s like I’m drinking out of a vanilla scented candle. If you’re a fan of that, you’ll love it, but this is definitely my last box.

Tart mint. That really sums up all I got out of this one. One of my favorite aspects of teas/herbals is their complexity, and this one doesn’t have any.

This one’s a bit of an odd duck. Like others have mentioned, the spice is the star of the show here. I only get a small taste of apple, and it’s a bit …off. I’m actually giving it a decent score, because I’ve bought more than one box. It’s a bit different than you’d expect, it’s a bit peculiar, but in the end, I still seek out a cup every now and then. I guess it grows on you.

This tea really caught me off guard! I’ve had some pretty awful holiday-themed drinks, but they actually put some thought into this one! It’s incredibly complex, you get a little orange coming through, cinnamon, mint of course, but also vanilla and some other unique flavors that really make for a great wintery drink! You’ve got to try this one.

I love cinnamon. I love ginger. I love nutmeg, allspice and even a little clove. This tasted to me like straight cloves and a hint of pumpkin. Not terrible, but not something I’ll buy again.

This has become one of my all time favorite hot drinks. I’d call it tea, but it really isn’t. It’s a cinnamon-spicy drink that has a lot of bite to it, and makes your house smell awesome as well. I don’t bother taking the tea bag out, by the time you get to the bottom, you can literally feel the hot tingle of cinnamon on your tongue. I know there are plenty that are too snobby for tea bags, especially inexpensive ones, but this is such a fun drink. It starts out sweet and spicy (this tea already tastes very sweet, I see no reason to add sweetener) and ends with a spicy punch. After drinking it in the morning, I can feel the spice all the way to work. I absolutely love it.
