If steeped for a short time, you get a nice chocolaty cup of tea, but the longer it steeps more pu erh weirdness comes out, giving you a dank, musty taste. I usually steep tea for the longest recommended time for the type of leaf because I prefer strong tea, but I brew this one for only 4 minutes at most.
