This tea…
I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this tea. I can’t help but compare it to Marco Polo by Mariage in terms of intensity of flavours. (Not similarity of flavours though, they are totally different). And I always reach the same conclusion: IT’s just not as flavourful as Marco Polo. However, I still love it.
The vanilla is a little underwhelming, you can’t really taste it very much, even though it is advertised as a “vanilla flavoured tea”. You can definitely tell it’s there, it just isn’t extremely pronounced. Seems like a twist on the traditional Earl Grey more than anything. Definitely a good tea, just a little underwhelming compared to how it is advertised.

Flavors: Citrus, Vanilla

Preparation
195 °F / 90 °C 3 min, 30 sec 1 tsp 7 OZ / 200 ML

you may give it another try at 5 minutes steeping. From my experience with this tea at 5 minutes the aromas are really there and we still can taste the tea base.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will give it a 5 minutes steep and see if I like it better that way.

Hey friends! I’m a French student who just got myself into tea. My favorite tea so far has to be Mariage Frere’s Marco Polo, which is somewhat ironic since in general, I love green teas a lot more.
Currently looking to learn about tea, and actually figure out what I love most out of everything that exists.
Looking forward to what people have to say around these parts! :)
