The reviews looked great so I gave this a try in two of the four directions Red Leaf suggested. I even made frothed milk. First off in opening the package the smell was amazing. Then I did a hot brewing at ~180F with a tablespoon of Matcha in 2 oz water, stirred well and then added the 8oz hot milk and topped it with froth. The caramel smell was nice, the drink was smooth. The taste however was a combination of mellow bitter, somewhat flavorless, and left you with a medicinal tang. I could be just the Matcha, it’s my first time trying it. I may suggest after tweaking with it adding less Matcha for the hot brewing then what the directions call for. I found the 1/2 teaspoon in a water bottle or 16.9oz more tame and tolerable. Over all with the directions it was borderline drinkable for my taste with that unforgettable medicine tang.
