Backlog:

This was better than I had expected. It’s a decaffeinated black tea which usually has me on “alert” and it’s a jasmine and bergamot flavored tea and typically I enjoy one or the other but sometimes when they’re together, it just doesn’t come out right. That together with the decaffeinated thing … kind of worried me.

But this is better than I thought it would be.

The bergamot is on the softer side. A little citrus-y but it’s not the crisp, tangy bergamot I would normally expect from an ‘Earl Grey.’ The jasmine is soft and floral and seems to soften the bergamot a little.

The tea does taste a little “thin” – you know that slightly thin taste that you get from some decaf teas? Yeah, I get a little of that. But overall, this is alright. I enjoyed it.

I am obsessed with tea!

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
