On The Fourth Day of Christmas, Della Terra Teas sent me This Tea!

And I was surprised at how much I liked it. Rooibos is generally not a favorite tisane base of mine. I like it alright, I don’t usually have a great appreciation for it plain, but if it’s organic, I don’t mind it too much plain. So there are a lot of exceptions to my “rule” of not liking rooibos. I guess I shouldn’t say I dislike it, but say instead that it’s not at the top of my list of favorites.

But this is actually really tasty. The cinnamon is strong. There isn’t a whole lot of obvious rooibos flavor to this (which suits me just fine), just cinnamon and a warm, nutty, sweet mid-note. I realize that the nutty/earthy notes come from the rooibos, but, it doesn’t really taste so much like rooibos that it’s an obvious thing.

I like this one. A good winter-y beverage, warms me up!

I am obsessed with tea!

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
