Backlog:

I found a bottle of this ready to drink chai from Bhakti in my local Whole Foods. It was quite a surprise! I have tried the Bhakti concentrates in the past and LOVED them, so I grabbed this bottle with great enthusiasm and couldn’t wait to try it.

I enjoyed it although I really prefer the concentrate because: 1) I prefer chai served hot, and 2) I liked that with the concentrate I could control the amount of milk that was added. And because the RTD is made with soy milk, it just tasted a bit thin to me. I like the creaminess of dairy. yeah, it’s not all that good for me, soy milk is better. But, I prefer the dairy stuff. What can I say?

This did taste as spicy as I remember Bhakti chai tasting, and that brought a smile to my face. Overall, a positive RTD experience.

Bonnie I like the concentrate too without the milk. Really strong so you can dilute to taste. Made in Colorado. (Just had to whoop it up for our tea industry)

It’s good without the milk too. I blended the concentrate in my blender with crushed ice once and it was fabulous.

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
