the bergamot flavour is strong and the tea is quite sweet. it’s not the best earl grey i’ve ever had and it’s not the worst. it’s not a show stopper. at 4 mins steeping time it should be fine, but it has a slight bitter oaky aftertaste that i’m not sure goes with the spirit of earl grey

Have you tried any Earl Grey from Kusmi Tea? I have a few of them. Intense Earl Grey; Troika and the regular Earl Grey. I found there are well balanced Earl Grey.
i havne’t yet. i’ll give it a go sometime. World of Tea has this magnificent earl grey cream that i love.
I will try the one at world of tea.
