Thanks for your review about our Bailin Gongfu tea and I’m so sorry that this tea does not meet your expectation. If possible, woudl you please let me know your brewing method? I hope we can find a way to get its best taste.

3 minutes, 195F, using Tea Maker from Breville so I get the perfect time and temperature, but well, it’s always strange to put a note on tea because it’s a matter of preference/taste

Thanks for these information and we totally understand it is a matter of personal preference. Please also understand that we just want to find the problem and provide a better way to solve it.

I tried 3g tea with 95℃ to brew it for 3-5 mins (350ml glass teapot). And if you prefer a stronger taste, I would suggest brewing 5 mins. Meanwhile, if you have any plans to order more teas, I’d be glad to add some extra samples of 2017 Bailin Gongfu for you to taste.

Wish you a nice day!

The taste is OK but nothing special.
I mean the color is special and the baked bread taste is nice but I guess I was expecting better by seeing all the good reviews …
This tea is really similar to “Yun Nan Dian Hong Black Tea”.
The tea leaves

On a side note, it’s pretty cool that Teavivre displays the Quality Safety Results of Analysis … let’s say that I’m a little concern with food from China with all the pollution … especially when a Black Tea is red :P
