34 Tasting Notes
If you aren’t crazy about green teas but want the healthy spectrum it offers, try this. The white tea reminds me of a mild oolong, nice. The blueberry in these tea bags is bigger in the nose than the taste. But the taste is there. Good light tea, I recommend this.
Preparation
Yummy like fruit candy. Very nice with both peach and apricot giving a strong showing. The ginger is faint. Uses Chinese black tea and the taste is appropriate, very smooth.
Gonna try blending this half & half with other straight black tea. The fruit flavors are so hearty I suspect a blend will hold up well.
Yummy memories of childhood in this cup. When I was a lil’ kid in the hills n’ hollows of western Pennsylvania we’d dig sassafras roots in the spring after the new leaves appeared. Wash em’ up and cut into shorts. Boil awhile and hot cups of yummy tea. Didn’t know about the safrole back then, but didn’t drink enough to really matter. Pappy’s is good stuff, hot with truvia. Enjoying some right now.
