4 Tasting Notes
This is my favorite black teas. I’ve read a few things about teas from the Darjeeling growing regions and the leafs are supposed to be of higher quality (at least in regards to taste) than the more prolific areas of Assam. This tea is soft and gentle in taste in spite of being a black tea. I would comment on the particular flavor notes but I’ve ran out of this tea and would like to drink it and slowly tease apart the taste while writing this review. Definitely one of the best black teas out there.
Preparation
This is my current everyday tea. Why? Because 1. it is inexpensive, 2. because it is white tea (one of my favorites). This tea has a great flavor. It is a leafy and dry tea. The taste of jasmine is not too strong to be detected. At first flavors seem a bit leafy but that gives way to a soft and gentle sweet taste.
Preparation
This Jasmine tea is quite delicious. The taste of Jasmine is rather strong and a bit on the bitter side. Even though it is not as delicate as other jasmine teas, it does make for a good flavor and overall great aroma. Because of it’s price range, I do recommend this tea as an every day tea.
