Le the n’est pas parfait. Je savait c’est le meme qualite de Twinings….

How’s that for some bad French! I will say that the tea is better than my French, but this tea can often be a bit strong with the flavors, not letting the tea shine through. Overall, a good tea, I probably won’t reorder it though. I got it as a gift from an uncle who visited France, and I think that it is ideal as a gift tea. It looks quite French in the packaging, and it is loose leaf.

A little bitter without honey or milk. Very enjoyable, but very strong. The spices make it smell a bit like a floral arrangement, but it’s tolerable if not brewed for long. The spices do leave a strange aftertaste unless you add a lot of honey. It smells lovely though.

Do not over steep, or this tea will taste like cheese. Actually it kinda tastes like cheese anyways, but it’s good enough you kinda ignore it. It is a delicious tea, but very strong if overbrewed, and it turns bitter easily. It’s very strong and has a lot of caffeine, and will stain anything you put it on. But it’s awesome tasting and fairly cheap, so it’s worth it.

One of the very few green teas I like. It tastes like stereotypical Chinese restaurant Jasmine tea, but with good quality tea and a nice floral note to it without being too strong or bitter. It doesn’t taste “Healthy” and bitter and just… icky like most green teas do these days, but honestly good. Natural sweetness occurs in it, bitter only if rebrewed. I was pleasantly surprised after going to HomeGoods and getting it for around $3. Leaves are nice and fresh, nice full leaves as well. Not quite tips, but really good.

Lovely. First time I’ve had Pu-Er so I’m not sure how it compares. Had it as a sample at their store, so I have no idea about brewing. Slight tannin taste, mother hated it, rather strong tea. Very earthy, very lovely. Didn’t buy since I wanted to buy other teas, but it’s very nice. Would recommend!

Naughty and dark, a bit more malty than most Assams. Nice caffeine kick. Very expensive, but really a lovely tea. I can see drinking this while plotting world takeovers and whatnot.

Love it! Not as strong as Taylor’s of Harrogate Assam, but really lovely. A strong tea, with a delicious taste. I haven’t had a change to drink it terribly often, but it really is NICE. No bitter hints at all.

OH GODS YES!!! This is an amazing Assam like black tea. It’s pretty expensive, but I like it a lot. I brewed per the instructions of the amazing people at the store in Burlington VT. It’s strong, has a nice kick, but isn’t harsh in any sense of the word. It’s very nice. A good afternoon tea. It can be overbrewed easily, and needs hot water. I would rate it higher if it didn’t turn harsh after 1 steeping, and bitter as well.

Assam with a hint of some other tea types. Similar to their plain assam. I really like this tea. I’ve had it only in the bagged form. It’s quite good, very strong and aggressive, and quite fully of caffeine. Has a faint natural sweetness, no extreme metallic taste or astringency, a very nice blend. It’s strong, but it won’t be horrible at any time. Possible to become bitter if overbrewed, so I’d put 6 mins as the max. It brews in everywhere from barely lukewarm water to nice hot tea water, so it’s quite good for travelling when cafes serve you warm water instead of hot!

Quite good assam. Rivals Dobra teas FANCY assam. I’ve only had their loose leaf, and it’s really one of the best assams I’ve had. Not a typical breakfast tea, the malty taste is noticeable, but not cloying. Overall, this is one of my favorite teas. It is impossible to overbrew it, and if you brew it for more than 2 minutes, to underbrew it. This is one of the few teas that I can get 2-3 decent steepings from, though by the 3rd, it gets a very slight bitter tone and is much weaker. The 2nd is just as good as the first. I brew at boiling, but I have experimented with different temperate. Easily accessible, cute box, reasonably priced.
