3 Tasting Notes
I absolutely love this tea. It’s strong, but not astringent. It fills the mouth and feels substantial. It’s my go-to tea for all occasions. Enough caffeine for the morning and afternoon. I can drink it all day long. Although I drink it black, it’s strong enough to hold up to milk and/or sugar. And it makes a hella good cup of iced tea in the warmer months too!
Flavors: Apricot, Caramel, Honey, Peppercorn, Plants, Tannin
Preparation
I generally am not fond of fruity tea blends, but something about the sample I had… and my daughter really liked it, so I thought I would get it to use as a way to pull her into the wonderful world of tea that I have loved for most of my life. I found myself making this blend more and more often. It sneaks up on you. It is very light and refreshing and fruity. A singular flavor that I find myself craving. Yum!
Preparation
I like a big, bold tea – even though I don’t add milk or sugar. I have been drinking Eight At the Fort as my main, go-to tea for over 10 years. It’s strong, malty, sweet, not overly bitter and has great mouth-feel – perfect balance. It’s extremely versatile: it makes a great iced tea and I have used it to cook with as well. My husband and I both love, love, love this tea and are never without it in the house.
