33 Tasting Notes
This is a nice cup of tea -however, for milky creaminess, it doesn’t compare to DavidsTea milk oolong, of which I am a big fan. I am trying other milk oolongs for comparison purposes. This one is more delicate and vegetal than I prefer. I made this Western style according to the directions on the package, which are for a much longer time than the directions given in this blurb on steepster.
Preparation
This tasted more vegetal than roasty – more of a green oolong than a darker one. It was ok, but milder than I would like even after steeping for 4 minutes. I much prefer the dark premium red robe from Mandala tea. The second steep at 5 minutes was not very flavorful.
Preparation
Trying to determine what exactly characterizes an Assam tea, having not much experience in that tea category. This is not impressive. I would not buy this again. Hopefully, I will find the definitive Assam that explains why people are such fans of it.
Preparation
This tea is way too sweet for me. An impulse buy at DavidsTea – I had gone there to replenish my stash of Rose Congou Green. I was disappointed to learn that it was discontinued. The woman who waited on me suggested this Green Seduction. I took a sniff of the tin, which smelled nice, and bought some. I will try steeping for way less time.
