Delightful! Its mild and sweet, and fruity. It doesn’t really remind me of papaya or pineapple, its more orange-ish. I wish there was a bit more of the pineapple flavor, but it still tastes great. This definitely wouldn’t be strong enough for a big cup or re-brew, but makes a solid cup.

This tea is everything I love about tea. It has the gentle earthiness of the green and white tea, with the sweet floral notes of jasmine, and the welcome undertone of hibiscus and peachiness. It smells amazing, tastes amazing, works well hot and cold, and brews very even. Some people talk about oversteeping bitterness, but I rebrew off the same bag so never have an issue.

Looks like Rooibos, smells like Rooibos, but Fry assured me that the caramel taste is stronger, so I was still willing to give it a go. She was right, it wasn’t supremely rooibos-y, but it wasn’t much of anything really. Super mellow, mild flavors that just barely hinted over hot water. I wanted more caramel out of this. Meh?

What is this tea even? It smells like Christmas mulled wine or wassail while its being brewed, and perhaps the taste is similar. Its kind of sour-ish with an aftertaste thats not exactly bitter, but I can’t find another fitting word. Its unpleasant and sticks in the back of your mouth. Its not the chilies, I am a HUGE chili lover, and I found them completely lacking in this. Maybe its the bruised pepper – I mean, come on what is this?

David’sTea has two teas with ‘lips’ in the title; one is disgusting and one is delicious. I couldn’t remember which of the two this was, so I was apprehensive while brewing. Turns out, this is the delicious one! Its chocolatey with a very nice permeated peppermint that reminds me of Christmas brownies or peppermint bark. These are the only two notable flavors though, not sure where the peppercorns are at. That being said, nothing is overwhelming, and the balance is just right. This tea is a win.
