I am in love with this tea, and surprised the other review scores are so low. It’s a great black, with a warm and cuddly vanilla aftertaste. I found myself wanting to chug it instead of sip it like a lady. After my first cup I am already ordering more because I am panicking about running out.

Boiling 3 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

LOL – I think you should drink your tea however it makes you happy – even if that includes “chugging” it. :))

Ditto with Dexter, oh, and I never sip my tea like a lady :-)

I picked this up at The Fresh Market today. The smell when I opened the package was AMAZING. I actually went around and made everyone else in the house smell it. The tea was nice, perhaps a little weaker than I wanted it to be after smelling the tea itself, but next cup I will steep it more and see what that does.

A little mild for my taste, it’s definitely on the more subtle end of the tea spectrum.

Mom of two practically grown girls, extremely happily married to a man who is amused by my obsession with tea, and company owner who works from home. Life is good.

Likes/dislikes: I love black teas, especially strong/malty ones. I am ok with flavored teas if the base is strong. I like some whites. I really don’t like any tea that tastes “green” – if I wanted to drink something that tastes like green beans, I would cook some green beans. I am not big on green teas or genmaichas. I am learning to like puerhs.

If we are trading, I have a STRONG aversion to coconut, banana and licorice. I love citrus, vanilla and spice. Not a fan of florals.
