2 Tasting Notes
A Lupicia store recently opened here in Singapore so I went down to have a look. When I asked the manager (who is also the one who brought the brand here) for a recommendation for something that goes well with milk, this was one of her recommendation.
And it was certainly a good one! I first took a sip of it without adding anything, and was surprised by how sweet it was. It certainly goes well with milk, like what the manager said. It smelled sweet like butter cookies, so much so that I was surprised to see almond in the ingredients list.XD It’s currently my favourite tea to drink in the morning!
Preparation
Love the grapefruit aroma that came from the leaves, however it lacked in taste. Maybe it’s suppose to taste that way, but it did remind me of the bitterness of eating a grapefruit. It’s pretty soothing to have it hot, but it tastes great iced as well!
