Yes, it’s a tea ball. Fairly basic. What I like is that it’s sturdy and has a teeny, tiny clip that keeps it closed securely (as well as the hinge closure). Not a speck of tea debris floats around in my cup after using this. It’s much better quality than any other tea ball I’ve ever used.
