4 Tasting Notes
This is one of my favorite White Teas. The flavor is perfectly sweet with a touch of sweetener, and the different ingredients blend together perfectly.
I have yet to try this one iced, but I’m planning on doing so when the weather isn’t so cold, as I’ve heard it’s even better iced.
Preparation
This is one of my favorite teas from Teavana, and one of the first ones that I purchased as a beginner. Normally, I like to blend it with the Sweet Asian Pear White Tea, and it is just amazing.
I normally brew this one with 2 tsps of the Citrus Lavendar Sage and 2 tsps of the Sweet Asian Pear, along with 1 tsp of German Rock Sugar and it is heaven.
Preparation
Usually, fruity herbal teas are my absolute favorite. However when I tried this for the first time using the suggested brewing instructions, it had no flavor and just tasted like hot water. This time when I tried it, I steeped twice the amount suggested, but it still tasted like hot water, but this time with a bitter kick. I was definitely disappointed in this tea.
Preparation
This is the first Mate that I’ve tried, and I wasn’t very impressed. The lemon overpowered the raspberry to the point where it just tasted like lemon tea. While the flavor was pleasant, I would have preferred it to have more of a balance.
Next time I will try it iced and see how that goes, but as far as this taste goes, I wasn’t overly impressed.
