So I had some of this hot last night and don’t really remember exactly how it tasted. Since I only did 1 steep, I decided to throw the leaves into a Mason jar and cold brew it.. And the result is really good! This is a lightly roasted flavour and kind of sweet.

I used more milk than intended because I just wanted to finish up the last bit of it, so the flavor is not as strong as the camamel popcorn one that I tried before. Nevertheless, still very good. Oh no, I might have to buy myself some flavored matcha soon..

I almost got a whole 250g of this from David’s Tea web specials a while ago but didn’t want to commit to it since I’ve never even tried a white peony before. Saw this in the TTB so decided to try it. In the pictures the tea leaves look quite large, but the sample in the box had much smaller leaves, possibly from getting crushed by all the other goodies in there :P

Anyways, this is a very light tea, with a bit of lemony flavor. Not getting any floral or bitterness from this. Grateful for the chance to try it, but don’t think I’ll be getting more of this.

This is my first time having flavored matcha, and this is super yummy! Smells like rich, buttery caramel, not exactly sure about the popcorn though. I had half a teaspoon of this in cold milk – soo good! Also feeling a bit of a energy high.. maybe should have had this in the morning instead :P

This is my first TTB and there are so many things in there to try! I was feeling lazy when I got this box yesterday so just cold brewed some of this to try today. Mostly I’m getting floral and some fruitiness (not really strawberry but I can’t tell what specifically) and also some pepper? Very refreshing iced tea and perfect for a warm summer evening!

Had this a few times hot before and always thought it was a little weird – hot pineapple juice? So I decided to use the last bit of this tea as a cold brew and I definitely enjoy this more. The pineapple is so strong that the tea actually tastes like it’s sweetened, and there’s just a light tea flavour in the background.

Dry, this smells like super-fruity candy. Cold brewing for a day results in….. juice!! The liquid is the palest yellow and I don’t taste any tea at all.

Actually I just looked at my bag, and all the tea seems to have settled to the bottom. So maybe I’m just drinking an infusion of dried fruit right now haha. Reminder to self: shake before scooping next time :P
