This tea is fairly good. It’s somewhat fruity. It’s not chocolaty. It’s not malty. Perhaps plums or even peaches is a good description of the main note.

I steeped this tea two times in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and 200 degree water for 3 and 4 minutes. Put the second steeping into a thermos.

I am by no means a tea expert, although I have been drinking tea for over 50 years so have had many types and varieties. This is my favorite from Yunnan Sourcing. For me it is the perfect morning cup, astringent in a very pleasant way, fruity and medium-light. I can have at least 2 strong brews per cup. The leaves are sturdy and not easily broken. My only worry is about the potential for pesticides on any Chinese tea. I ordered several types from an organic grower in India and sadly, none were as flavorful or well formed as the Yunnan variety. I am trying to learn more about the conditions in which the tea is grown, but have not been able to find out much. If anyone does know more, I would appreciate knowing.
