From Yee On Tea

Exclusive Yee On Tea Co order from Menghai’s Tea Factory to celebrate 25 years of traditional tea making from this famous factory. This famous recipe is reflective of the skill and dedication to craft that Menghai Tea Factory has, this raw Pu-erh Tea is deeply flavoured with hints of traditional storage. It is such a popular product when it was released at our retail store, large quantities of our stock were snapped up by collectors from China and Taiwan. Inner ticket stamped “2000YOTC2HK” to mark the special relationship we have with the factory.

This 7542 has been aged in our professional warehouse for 23 years. The taste has reached the mature stage in our traditional Hong Kong warehouse. The wood fragrance is present, infusion is mellow and smooth, and it is very resistant to foaming. After a few infusions, there is a faint sweet fruity taste, which is very memorable. The infused tea leaves are a well-balanced dark brown, soft, grade 4-6 tea.

A special tea from YOT. I’ve been saving this one for a fun occasion and I had some friends over, one of whom also enjoys puerh. I cracked this out and everyone loved it!

Smoother than butter and dustier than your grandma’s crawl space. This tea is scrumptious. Barely any trad notes. Still some fermented notes, but this has matured 90+% into storage notes, which I love. This is such a great balance tbh.

I mean if I were rich, I’d for sure buy as many cakes of this as possible ofc. But I’m not.

Flavors: Dust, old library books, attic, wet wood, sweet, ancient.
