The 2020 Ajai is a sweet and syrupy treat with a fruity floral profile and a mouth watering broth. A crowd pleasing tea that is fit for a beginner exploring higher end teas or a Puer veteran seeking out a complex daily cup.

Snuck this session in over lunch today! I blind caked this based on the sweet and floral descriptors, and this tea definitely delivered on those!! Sticky, lingering heady florals that sit on the back of the palate with sweet orchard fruit & peach juice, agave, and fresh Spring flower notes at the top of the sip. I hit a really nice sweet spot with the session about three steeps in, and I think in the future I could definitely push steeps longer or increase the leaf amount to get a thicker flavour or a touch more longevity!!
