Um is this tea a sheng or shu? Or neither? It seems to have qualities of both. It brews up a dark amber colour. I’ve seen shu’s that have a really dark brew and this doesn’t have that. It’s got a damp wood taste. On the package it says it also has a tobacco taste which to me is not appealing at all. However, it’s not strong and is kind of in the background. Overall, this tea is very smooth with a nice sweetness in each sip. Not quite a sheng and not quite a shu. I have no idea how to rate this tea. I would need to have it quite a few times. Definitely different!
