Tea of the afternoon….. (SRP #44)

I have had this sample in my stash since last November. Not sure why I have not tried it until now, but I am pleasantly surprised. The tea base is very smooth and complements the almond flavor very well. Yes, pleasantly surprised. I find it very relaxing. And very much like dessert in a cup. I would definitely consider purchasing some.

Usual mug method. Lightly sweetened.

This is the last almond tea testing for the night. The first two were from Adagio, and I found their black tea bitter, while their oolong variety was very nice.

This smells like Adagio’s Almond Oolong after brewing. It has a very similar tone to it. On first sip however, Upton once again blows Adagio out of the water on flavor (imo). There is absolutely no bitterness, it is much stronger overall and it makes me go “yum!”. As much as I love Adagio for their customer service/variety, Upton is quickly becoming a favorite for simply flavored teas.

Another from Azzrian…

So the smell of this dry, wet, and the taste is something I can’t quite put my finger on. Not almonds. Something like a lolly or a soda or maybe even cough syrup from when I was a kid. Weird. Odd. Confusing.

That is all for the moment.
