From Twinings

This Twinings blend is a marriage of two of China’s most famous types of black tea; a rich black tea from the Yunnan province, which with its strength and caramel sweetness partners perfectly with the more complex flavours of the Keemun tea from the Anhui province of China.

I really like this blend, it’s quite gentle and inoffensive. Probably more of a 4-o-clock tea, best with a mid afternoon snack. I have to leave it for a bit longer than they say to get a fuller flavour, and it struggles with more than one steep. I add a dash of milk just to take the edge off it, and don’t think it needs to be any sweeter, but otherwise it’s nice and smooth.

The leaves look large and have bronze flecks, and it crunches between your fingers. Good liquor colour with few fragments at the bottom. Tastes a bit nutty with hazelnuts or chestnuts, and maybe a tiny bit like a dark wood too. Pleasant!
