A careful process of hand-crafting this exquisite white tea involves the most traditional method of allowing the leaves to wither naturally in the sun.
Its sweet aromas of straw and honey give way to light, refreshing flavors of honeysuckle and wintermelon.

This is my assessment:
The leaves are long, thin, and narrow, shaped much like needles. (Thankfully all the leaves came intact! I hate it when I buy looseleaf tea and the leaves are broken!) The leaves are delicately covered with tiny, fuzzy white hairs that produce a taste just as delicate. The dry leaves themselves smell like melon but after infusing them for 2 min at 190 degrees, the tea smells like honey. The tea definitely retains notes of honey, making it naturally a tad sweet and extremely palatable. You don’t get any bitterness from it. The leaves only change the color of the water ever so slightly. I challenge you to try this tea because it has a great balance of sweetness versus vegetal notes (I taste artichoke, grass). It’s also low in caffeine making it a great anytime tea and has a long finish, making it an ideal thirst quencher— iced or hot.
