YUM!

There are a lot of pumpkin pie flavored teas out there, especially during this time of year. Some are better than others – this is one of the good ones.

From the moment I tore into the package, I could smell the pumpkin pie goodness! The smell filled the kitchen – you’d swear I was baking a pie.

The flavor is very pleasing – the black tea base is a solid, strong flavor, it isn’t one of those wimpy black tea blends that allows the flavor to do all the work. I like that I taste TEA here. The flavor of the pumpkin is a bit more mellow than I would like, I think, it isn’t a dominant flavor … but it’s there. The spices are warm and very delicious.

Overall, a very pleasing pumpkin pie blend.

I like this even better as a latte! The creaminess enhances the pumpkin-y flavor that I was looking for when served straight. Definitely yummy!!!

I picked up a pumpkin tea with Raritea at the tea festival. Now I really want to try it…

Thanks Liberteas

Lighter on the Pumpkin – especially on the front end of the sip and greater on the spice. Close to the end of the sip more pumpkin – same amount of spice – but more creamy.

My fave part is that everything tastes TRUE. Not artificial…not fake…nice spices and pumpkin.

Another reason I wanted to drink this one at the moment is because I was looking for something with clove in it and was unable to find any chai in my stash. This did the trick!

One question…

How on EARTH could I be low on CHAI?

Kittenna

I was thinking that too! Did you stash all the chais in one place that you can no longer remember? :P

Another one from terri. Sadly, now that i’ve had the pumpkin ginger tea that she shared with me, all others fail in comparison. This is a nice ennough tea…a little heavy on the clove but still good. I’d put this as more of a pumpkin spice tea than i get anything out of it that is pie like. That being said, it just can’t compare to the other one…that i’ve hidden away with my anxi shou. it must hide! for a no good very bad day when i need a smile.
