From Tiesta Tea

This fan favorite earned its merit from its refreshing, exotic flavor. This blend is naturally sweet and caffeine free: making it perfect for tea lovers (or even beginners) of all ages!

Ingredients: pineapple (pineapple, cane sugar), orange slices, mango (mango, cane sugar), natural flavors, safflowers, strawberries, hibiscus, marigolds

Instructions: Make this herbal tea by scooping 1.5 tsp of tea for every 8 oz of water. Next, pour your 208 degree water over the tea. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea pieces and enjoy your cup.

I purchased this at a local Natural Grocers under Natural Grocers packaging, but it is the same tea offered from Tiesta so I’m recording it here rather than creating a duplicate under the Natural Grocers name.

This is a chunky, sweet fruit tea, which I coldbrewed when my friend Todd was visiting so there would be plenty of ice cold tea on hand. The flavor is an amalgamation of mango and pineapple, but despite the name, I get far more pineapple than mango (which is fine by me, as pineapple is probably my favorite fruit). There is a lot of dried orange in the blend, but I find it doesn’t really add much tanginess to the tea; occassionally I’ll get a bit of the note toward the end of the sip. The tea is very naturally sweet, and I couldn’t imagine adding any extra sweetener. It’s very gulpable, but it takes a lot of the tea to brew up a liter; I got 3 liters out of a 3 oz. package.

Ha I’m a monster who adds sugar to every tea, even this one :P

Mastress Alita

And I’m a monster that drinks plain hibiscus, straight up, with no sweetener and doesn’t understand why everyone else says it is “sour” or “tart” hahaha.

Then, if you haven’t already tried it, Natural Grocers also has a Palm Beach Punch that is so hibiscified (hibisciated?) it makes me scroodge up my face thinking about it. Might be right up your alley!

Mastress Alita

I do have a package of that!

Thanks to AliceG for this favorite. I think this tea is the same at TeBella’s mango melange. The flavor is much more orange than mango, which is too bad since I’ve been unable to find many accurate mango flavors in teas. However, this is one of my favorite fruit teas. It’s sweet, refreshing, and not at all sour. I enjoy it at room temperature best. It has a light orange flavor that is really addicting. Love it.

Large chunks of dried fruit and flower petals comprise the dry leaf.
Steeps a cheerful yellow-orange color, like an egg yolk.
Perfume on the liquor is very fruity, almost candy-like.
Tastes mostly of oranges and mango— very juicy and sweet.
Yum!

Sipdown!
So this tea is pretty much the same as DAVIDsTEA’s Mango Fruit Punch which happens to be one of my favorite fruit tisanes. This tea just has less ingredients. It was very good prepared as a Tea Pop.

Sipdown (213)

This was an easy sipdown of a mediocre tea so I just went for it.

This is a fantastic, very flavorful herbal tea! I’m currently on day 8 of a 10-day diet detox for which I’ve had to cut out gluten, meat/animal products, dairy, alcohol, sugar, and – you guessed it – caffeine. This tea has been one of my saviors over this period, because it’s delicious without sugar and really easy to steep on the go, since the fruit doesn’t need to removed from the water after a certain period of time. Drunk hot, this blend reminds me of orange juice, and there’s an underlying sweetness from the mango that I really enjoy. I can’t wait to try this one iced!
