From Thés du Japon

Type of tea : Futsumushi sencha (normal-steamed sencha)
Origin: Shizuoka Prefecture, Fuji City, Imamiya
Cultivar: Tsuyu Hikari

Description
Tsuyu Hikari is one of the cultivars that has been highly noted in recent years in Shizuoka Prefecture. It is very resistant to disease and cold, provides lavish harvests and, above all, produces very high quality tea. Tsuyu Hikari is a hybrid of the famous Asatsuyu and Shizu7132 (known for its scent of Japanese cherry tree leaves).

The dry leaves have a light, fresh, sweet fragrance, but it is after infusion that their potential is revealed, with a powerful, sweet, but especially floral fragrance, something smooth with cherry blossom notes inherited from 7132. This trend is also found in the beautiful green liquor, which is mellow and stimulating, with vegetal and floral aromas that open up with complexity and depth.

A very pleasant sencha, mellow and easy to prepare. Excellent quality for the price.
