Cold Brew Sipdown (804)!

Another share from Kittenna – I was intrigued; Teavivre’s different herbal/fruit blends have been a bit hit or miss for me. This is pretty nice, but I’ve been trying to place exactly what the intended fruit flavour is for the last half hour and I’m not totally sure. I would say maybe blueberry!? It’s sort of just a generic fruity berry flavour though. That’s fine ‘cause it’s definitely still refreshing and the hibiscus/apple combo isn’t too obviously present or excessively tart – so it’s great for in the moment drinking.

I predict it’ll fade into obscurity in my memory, though.

This was snuck into my swap with Evol Ving Ness by Sil when she acted as the middle person between the two of us. I cold brewed this for 6-7 hours and I drank the whole thing but it’s not particularly flavorful. More berry than hibiscus which is nice but sort of that common fruit/berry tisane flavor. Nevertheless, thank you Sil for the share.

Coldbrewed with 1 tsp agave syrup this is delicious! The sweetness counters the acidity of the hibiscus. I can really taste the fruits more this way. It reminds me of fruit punch/juice with notable grape and berry flavours. With sweetneer, this is more of a 80/100 tea.

Cold brew of this one after our hike this afternoon. Now here’s hoping for a little gaming and some down time now. However, at least i have one more day off…lucky banker holidays for remembrance day :) While this is hibby like – with a tiny bit of sweetner it was what i needed to help re-balance after our adventures…after a bunch of water

Fjellrev

Hope you enjoyed that extra day off!

No reviews yet?! :o I guess teavivre didn’t really promote this one like they do their other teas. I had to request this sample specifically. :) I’m not really a fan of roselle/hibiscus, but I love black current. And I’m always down for more caffeine free teas. Plus hubby loves blueberry.
The dry leaf is absolutely mouthwatering. It’s like that concentrated fruit juice you’re supposed to dilute. The tea is not too tart. I did over water the tea so it might be that. Nonetheless, it was tasty. Definitely blueberry and black currant. I bet it would be nice iced.
