From Teavana

Black tea, jasmine green tea + oolong tea unite festively, with rapturous notes of apricot + florals.
True joy endures, but this blend only comes around once a year. The boldness of black tea, soothed by sweet oolong and softened by the floral notes of jasmine green tea, creates a lavishly layered cup.

Wow, this gets astringent very quickly. I really like the spices + jasmine combo though. Be careful more to overbrew this, I accidentally left mine in for about 5 minutes and than was far too long. It could also be the green tea in the base that made it astringent (and also a bit bitter). Either way, beware!

There is a strong scent and flavour from jasmine and from something similar to orange peel and mulling spices, but the spices are quite faint. What I really like is that there is no acidic/sour aspect with the orange/fruit flavour. I wouldn’t call this a winter or holiday tea, but this blend has so much potential. If not for the astringency that made it undrinkable, I would have really enjoyed this (and probably bought some looseleaf).

Couldn’t agree more. I followed the steeping instructions on this one and I just couldn’t drink it due to its astringency. Steeping it on 3 minutes gets a more balanced taste.

Whew. Hello Steepster! waves. Its been ages. In my defense I’m quite stressed by the new job, and have been insanely busy, but I’m not going to let that be an excuse any more. I must enjoy the things I love, and that should help with the stresses of the world.
So I’ve been trying to sip down this. Its an odd-un, and its best with a very light steep, or else the green tea gets a little too forceful, and bounces the more delicate flavors. Still not sure that I exactly like it, but it is getting me through.
