This very rare straight white tea has a gorgeous leaf and a cup that is complex, and nuanced with sweet fruit notes and a slight mineral quality. The tea has a silky texture and lingers on the tongue. It is made by Mr. Lin Kai Sheng in Fuding, Fujian Province. Mr. Sheng grew up in a tea family and learned the art from his father, but decided to become a teacher because the need in his village was so great. But hand-making tea is still his passion. This tea is made from a rare local cultivar, contributing to its very unique flavor profile (does NOT contain plum).
