Moringa (also known as Jacinto) is a small antioxidant rich plant from India and Nepal that has been used for thousands of years in the East to treat and prevent diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, anemia, arthritis, liver disease, and respiratory, skin, and digestive disorders. It has a green, herbaceous flavor.
Once steeped, Watermelon Basil Agua Fresca has a mild herbal aroma; and at first sip the herbaceous moringa taste is quickly followed by cooling mint and savory basil. After a few sips, you will taste a hint of bitterness from the lime with lots of juicy fresh lime zing, then it finishes with a lingering watermelon taste.
