From Tealyra

Our Blackberry Shiso Leaf tea is a delicious fruit tea blend with the addition of fresh-tasting shiso leaf and yuzu peel.

Native to Asia, shiso (perilla leaf) is enjoyed as a culinary herb that is widely used in Japanese and other Asian cuisines. The beautiful leaves and flowers are both edible, and they release a fresh minty, basil-like flavor and hints of cumin, clove, and citrus. Red shiso is best known for its use as a natural coloring in making pickles and umeboshi!

Once steeped, the maroon liquor offers a sweet-tart blackberry flavor with yuzu citrus feel zing and a super fresh “minty” finish, this minty cool finish is from the shiso leaf. Enjoy this unique rich, tasting Japanese-inspired fruit tea blend.

Ingredients: red shiso, rosehips, hibiscus, blackberries, yuzu
