A higher grade Pu-erh than the Supreme. The flavor of this tea is not subtle and is an exquisite example of the earthy flavored overtones associated with Pu-erh teas. Although classified as black teas,due to the dark steep color, pu-erh teas in actuality are closer to being fermented green teas.

At the same time, I found it approachable for a pu-erh, on the sweet rather than fecund side of earthy, and might just brew it for a pu-erh n00b on a chilly autumn day. I myself drank it in the Tea-luxe window, and enjoyed two steeps to my pot.
