TASTE
The liquor is full-bodied, brisk and feels ample in the mouth. It starts out on a clean and crisp fruity note, similar to black grapes and plum which gradually gain in prominence and resonate throughout the length of the cup. Soft notes of apricot coupled with subtle wet wood undertones can be perceived briefly around the edges. The aftertaste is pleasant with refreshing tart notes.

The wood has a proper presence and the overall experience is dry but full-flavored. Like many darjeeling summers, this tea functions best as a spice and a perfume that you could have after a meal to perk you up and give you a good taste in your mouth. Its grapey/lemony character is still very strong and feels fresh. Tannins are high, but caffeine is moderate. This is a great workhorse tea.
