The name “Da Hong Pao” refers to the tea’s complex and superior taste. The dark leaves produce a brew that is fragrant in scent, heavy in flavor, and rich in color. The tea will first strike you as bitter, follow by a strong sweet, then finishes with an astringent but mouth-watering aftertaste. The tea’s commanding flavors will surely leave a memorable impression.

Though powerful, this Wuyi Mountain Da Hong Pao is on the mellow side of the spectrum compared to the others in our selection.
