From Tea Story

The Tea Story description:
Snow tea, also called as Taibai tea – it is actually lichen – got the name due to its color just as pure white as snow. It can not be cultivated, but totally a wild-growing plant. It grows in the Bryophytes area in Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places which is about 4000 meters above sea-level.

It has good efficacy in promoting the production of body fluid to quench thirst, clearing away heat and toxic material and help detox inner organs too, moisturizing lungs, lowering blood pressure, soothe the nerves. For heat stroke, hyperactivity cough, neurasthenia, hypertension as well as treat epilepsy mania.

Thanks its chemical composition, the lichens (Thamnolia vermicularis) has also anti-obesity effect.

My own experience:
The color is very white indeed. Its Aroma is fresh and slightly grassy/woody. The infusion color is bright golden and its taste is delicate light grassy no need a sweeteners. Little a bit similar to a sencha. Its bowels calming effect – in my personal cause the gallbladder most of the time – starts almost immediately after few sips.
