From Tea Story

Top quality! A large green leaf with many white buds. Bright orange cup, mild and nutty with a fine cocoa taste.

Bai Mu Dan (White Peony), spelled as Pai Mu Tan. Incorporating many buds and few leaves which are covered with a fine, silvery-white down. From Fujian Province, China. White Peony undergoes natural, slow ambient drying. This makes the tea soothing and gentle. It is sometimes preferred by white tea drinkers for its fuller flavor and greater potency than the other major type of white tea.

The nose is warm, floral and rich like fruit blossoms. The liquor is bright orange with mild, nutty and fine cocoa taste.

1st Grade – Higher proportion of buds and leaves covered with fine, silvery-white down.
