The recent trip to Georgia brought us a lot of inspiration, admiration for the local people and fascination with unspoiled nature. There aren’t many places in the world where there are 2 hectares of burnt tea trees that have grown in the forest and actually become a forest. To do so in the untouched nature within sight of the snow-capped peaks of the wild mountains of the Guria region. This is where the tickets for this black tea come from, which is produced by our supplier in a simple home-made tea workshop, which he made himself completely. The tea has a typical malty to honey-sweet taste, a velvety soft texture that caresses the tongue. The aroma is honey, wild flowers, blooming acacias and fruit. It is suitable both for single-pot preparation and for gaiwan or small teapots for multi-infusion preparation, where it gradually gains depth and reveals its full beauty, which is a reflection of the place and the people who produce it.

Harvest time: 8.-14.5.2022

Cultivar: the original tea trees made of Chinese seeds that have burned and the seeds themselves continue to multiply in the forest.
